[Korean Air Incheon to Bali Business Class Review] Miles Booking, Lounge, Seats, Meals & Travel Tips
Why I Booked Business Class Using Miles
Hello, this is Lynn – a travel lover. For my recent trip to Bali, I prioritized value for money, and using mileage to fly business class turned out to be a brilliant choice.
I found available seats directly on the Korean Air app and booked round-trip for 70,000 miles (35,000 one-way), with a tax/fee of about ₩120,000. I also selected my preferred window seat — 15A, which gave me privacy and quiet. Absolutely worth it.
My takeaway? Don’t hoard miles — use them wisely when it matters!
Incheon Airport Check-In & Star Priority Experience
Star Priority for business passengers made everything smoother — fast check-in, priority luggage tags, and early baggage delivery upon arrival. You also get two checked bags up to 32kg, which is a big plus if you travel heavy.
Prestige Lounge at Incheon Terminal 2
I visited the lounge near Gate 249 (West side) in Terminal 2. It was spacious, calm, and easily accessible. You can even take a virtual tour of the lounge on Korean Air’s website here: Virtual Lounge Tour
▸ Lounge Seating & Amenities
The lounge had a variety of seating options — solo couches, work desks, and tables by the windows. It also offered showers and massage chairs, perfect for relaxing before a long-haul flight.
▸ Buffet & Drinks
There was a wide selection of hot foods like bulgogi and bibimbap, along with salad, fresh fruit, desserts, and drinks (coffee, draft beer, wine, and soft drinks). I intended to have a light snack but ended up going back for seconds!
Onboard Seat Review – 15A Window
I was welcomed with a glass of champagne as soon as I boarded — instant travel mood. The seat was wide with generous legroom and had a privacy divider. Not fully lie-flat, but very comfortable for sleeping.
▸ Seat Features
Seat 15A had excellent window views and minimal disturbance from others. It came with noise-canceling headphones, USB/charging ports, adjustable lighting, a folding table, plush blanket, slippers, and a pillow. Premium details all around.
Inflight Meal – That Steak Though
Since it was an evening flight, dinner was served. I chose steak, cooked medium-rare — juicy, flavorful, and genuinely restaurant-quality. The entire meal felt like a fine dining course in the sky.
▸ Full Course
Appetizers, salad, main course, dessert — all beautifully plated and served with wine. Definitely a highlight of the flight.
▸ Bonus Tip
You can request additional snacks, cup noodles, or fruit mid-flight. Very helpful if you get hungry later on.
Entertainment & Sleep
The large screen had crisp resolution and responsive controls, with a good range of movie selections. I rewatched *Inside Out 2* and still found it deeply moving!
The seat reclined almost flat, so I was able to sleep very comfortably. The blanket was thick, the pillow supportive, and the window seat minimized light and noise for a peaceful rest.
Cabin Crew & Final Thoughts
The flight attendants were kind, responsive, and respectful of personal space. I’ll be reviewing the Bali-to-Incheon return flight soon, but spoiler: the outbound (Incheon → Bali) service was noticeably better — maybe because the return was a red-eye flight.
Mileage Redemption Tips
- Booking opens 365 days in advance — check early for availability.
- You can combine family miles or convert credit card points.
- One-way redemptions are allowed, giving you more flexibility.
